Who We Are
Kelp is an artisan bakery in the heart of Cornwall.
Alfie Opie is the proprietor and artisan baker at Kelp, which he established in 2015.
After gaining experience in several Michelin starred kitchens across the country, Alfie came home to Cornwall to set up his new business.
His premises are in Redruth where he crafts a wide selection of breads, ranging from everyday staples such as Farm House White, Wholemeal and Granary loaves to Date and Rosemary, Lemon Rolls and croissants.
Kelp supplies exceptional artisan breads at a growing number of Markets and now delivers across the Kerrier and Penwith Districts.
We now operate a Pop-Up shop at the unit where you can meet the team face to face and see which other local suppliers we're supporting #littleshopoffabulous.
